Welcome to Lokify! By accessing or using our mobile application, web platform, or any related service (collectively, "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Lokify, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or have authorization from a legal guardian
- You have read, understood, and fully agree with these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Lokify is a digital platform designed for professional animal trainers and pet owners, offering:
- Consultation recording and transcription: audio capture of sessions with AI-powered automated transcription
- AI behavioral analysis: generation of behavioral profiles from transcriptions
- Personalized training plans: automated creation of training programs
- Session tracking: progress recording, notes, and observations
- AI chat assistant: intelligent chat support
- Client and pet management: registration and organization
- Achievement system: gamification to encourage usage
3. Account Types
3.1 Trainer (Professional)
Account designed for professional animal trainers. Provides full access to recording features, behavioral analysis, plan generation, and client management.
3.2 Pet Owner (Proprietor)
Account designed for pet owners. Allows tracking training plans, recording progress, and interacting with the trainer.
4. Registration and Account Security
4.1 Registration Information
To create an account, you must provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information, including your full name and email address. Registration can also be completed through Google OAuth authentication.
4.2 Account Responsibility
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, all activities performed under your account, and immediately notifying Lokify of any unauthorized use.
4.3 Email Verification
Lokify may require verification of the provided email address for account activation or maintenance.
5. Plans and Payments
5.1 Available Plans
Lokify offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:
- Solo (Free): limited access to basic features, no charge.
- Copilot: $15.00/month (via Stripe), automatically renews every 30 days. Includes unlimited plans, up to 30 AI plans/month, unlimited sessions, 300 insights/month, Loki AI and audio input.
- Max: $25.00/month (via Stripe), automatically renews every 30 days. Includes everything in Copilot, plus: up to 80 AI plans/month, 600 insights/month, advanced AI model, web search and specialized agents.
Prices above refer to subscriptions via Stripe (web). For subscriptions made via app stores, prices may be higher due to platform fees and may vary by country and local currency. The exact price will be displayed in the app before purchase confirmation.
5.2 Auto-Renewal and Billing
All paid subscriptions are auto-renewable. This means your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period at the same price, unless canceled in advance.
- Via Apple App Store (iOS): Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge will occur within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Via Google Play Store (Android): Payment is charged to your Google account. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the end of the current period.
- Via Stripe (Web): Payment is charged to the registered payment method. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the end of the current period.
5.3 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you will continue to have access to the plan until that date.
- iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Lokify > Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Lokify > Cancel.
- Web: Go to your account settings on Lokify or contact suporte@lokify.app.
Simply deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
5.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by:
- Stripe: for web and Android payments
- Apple App Store: for in-app purchases on iOS devices
- Google Play Store: for in-app purchases on Android devices
Lokify does not store credit card data or sensitive financial information.
5.5 Refunds
Refund policies follow the guidelines of the payment processors and applicable legislation, including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. For subscriptions made via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be made directly through the respective stores.
6. Use of Artificial Intelligence
6.1 Technologies Used
- OpenAI (GPT models): audio transcription, behavioral analysis, plan generation, insights, and chat
- Google Gemini: alternative provider (fallback) for the same features
6.2 Data Sent to AI
For the AI models to function, the following may be sent: audio transcriptions (with names of pets, owners, and trainers), pet information, behavioral context, plan and session details, and chat messages.
6.3 AI Limitations
6.4 AI Data Processing
Data sent to AI providers is processed in accordance with those providers' privacy policies. Lokify strives to use configurations that minimize data retention by third parties.
7. User Content
7.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you submit to Lokify, including audio recordings, texts, images, and pet information.
7.2 License Granted to Lokify
By submitting content, you grant Lokify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and sublicensable license to use, process, store, and transmit that content, solely to operate the Service, improve features, and generate anonymized data for research.
7.3 Use of Anonymized Data for Research
Lokify may use data in an anonymized and aggregated form for:
- Pet industry research and studies (most trained breeds, common behaviors, most effective methods)
- Publishing reports and articles
- Product and service improvement
- Partnerships with research institutions
This data will never contain information that could directly or indirectly identify any specific user, pet owner, trainer, or animal.
7.4 Use for Marketing Purposes
With your express consent, Lokify may use your data to send promotional communications, service recommendations, personalized campaigns, and partner offers. You may revoke this consent at any time.
7.5 Content Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights over all submitted content, including consent from third parties whose voices or information may be captured in recordings.
8. User Conduct
By using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Submit content that violates the rights of third parties
- Record conversations without the knowledge and consent of all parties involved
- Attempt to access other users' accounts
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without authorization
- Reverse-engineer the Service
- Deliberately overload the servers
- Resell or redistribute access without authorization
9. Intellectual Property
Lokify holds all intellectual property rights over the Service, including software, design, logos, trademarks, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to the user.
10. Service Availability
Lokify makes reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or modifications may result in temporary unavailability. Lokify reserves the right to discontinue features with reasonable prior notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lokify shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption
- Actions or decisions made based on AI-generated content
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
- Issues caused by third-party services
Lokify's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event.
12. Termination
12.1 By the User
You may close your account at any time through the application settings or by contacting support.
12.2 By Lokify
Lokify may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive use, prolonged inactivity, or legal determination.
12.3 Effects of Termination
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Your data may be retained as required by law and the Privacy Policy
- Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely
13. Changes to Terms
Lokify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the application or by email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. General Provisions
- Applicable Law: Laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil
- Jurisdiction: Court of the jurisdiction where Lokify is domiciled
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect
- Waiver: Tolerance shall not constitute a waiver of the right to demand compliance
